Helen Palermo

Helen Palermo was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Helen passed on peacefully in her sleep on June 22nd, 2021.

Helen is survived by her children Nicholas, Helen, Patricia, Frances and her grandchildren Michelle, Nicholas, Marissa, William, Zachary, Nicholas, Tyler, and Jordyn.

Helen's stomping grounds started off in Brooklyn, NY before eventually migrating to the countryside of Prattsville, NY to raise a family of four with the love of her life, Nicholas. Helen took up a huge interest in cooking and was known for having the best Sunday sauce in the world and arguably the galaxy. It was safe to say that we never had one complaint about her cooking or else the wooden spoon was coming out if any bad remarks were passed! Helen will be very missed not only for her delicious cooking but for the contagious smile and loving energy that rubbed off onto everyone around her. 

Please join our family in sending off Helen to reunite with the love of her life Nicholas on Saturday, June 26th, 2021 at Aston-Basagic Funeral Home located at 7742 Main Street, Hunter, NY 12442. Viewing hours will be from 2-5 PM.
